Inkjet Printing on NanoPaper: Waveforms & Platen Temperature

*Applies to: A4 Sheets · Last updated: 2025-11-27 13:17:50*

Baseline setup

  • Platen: start 30–45 °C; increase for faster dry if edges remain crisp.

  • Waveform: vendor-recommended for your ink head; purge/prime before runs.

  • Drop spacing: start with vendor default; tighten only after adhesion validated.

Artifact control

  • Coffee-ring: increase platen temp or adjust solids; lengthen dwell between passes.

  • Satellites: tweak waveform/voltage; verify nozzle health.

  • Bleed: reduce ink laydown, lower platen temp, or increase inter-pass delay.

Post-process

  • Stepwise dry → anneal → sinter per ink. Verify solvent is fully removed before high-temp steps.

Metrology

  • Inspect edge roughness and minimum printable line.

  • Measure resistance of printed traces; track across print/cure iterations.
